Devra Bakeman

The one thing I want to say is that God has been so good to me. He has blessed me with three wonderful children, a great home, family, and friends.   I came to East North Street Church three years ago and have had a great time being able to use my spiritual gift of serving.  Since I love to cook, I have had plenty of opportunities with our Wednesday night dinners, potlucks and cookouts. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Not only have I been able to use my gifts, I have also grown spiritually due to the very biblical teaching I received here. I am finding the freedom from legalism and I’m learning to just trust in the wonderful work of Jesus. I pray that the influence that Pastor Steve and his family has had on my life here at East North Street Church will touch others in our community as well.
